We may not be lost yet, I simply do not know, but I do know we are not only veering into socialist territory but we are firmly implanted in it, especially those in our churches. Yet they fail to grasp the reality that we are on the eve of destruction! Our children freely and legally access hard core Internet porn on a regular basis and as a result rape and sexually assault each other at younger and younger ages in unimaginable numbers. Our daughters legally work as whores. Our unborn are legally murdered. Our children, grandchildren and great grandchildren inherit our selfishly obscene, unpayable debt. Our rape rate routinely tops that of the developed world yet as Hosea 4:1-6 warns,
"... the Lord has a case against the inhabitants of the land. There is swearing, deception, murder, stealing and adultery (sound like Australia?). They employ violence (but only against those who oppose mandatory vaccination or have yet to be born) so that bloodshed follows bloodshed. Therefore the land mourns, and everyone who lives in it languishes along with the beasts of the fields and the birds of the sky; and also the fish of the sea disappear (familiar?). Yet let no one find fault and let none offer reproof; for your people are like those who contend with the priest. So you will stumble by day and the prophet will also stumble with you by night (anyone keeping up with Australia's Hillsong pastors sexual atrocities across the world?); and I will destroy your mother. My people (God's people) are destroyed for a lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being my priest. Since you have forgotten the law of your God, I will also forget your children (Australia's most common elective surgical procedure is deliberately killing an unborn child)."
God is not bound by our feelings, He is bound by His word. While Barry McGuire's worldwide hit Eve of Destruction was a typical-of-its-day war protest song from the 1960s the prescient title is most assuredly applicable today.
