Prime Minister Howard has received AFF's submissions documenting the link between pornography and violence.  He has the ammunition he needs to make good his election promise to ban the X Rated video trade in Australia. 

Prime Minister John Howard has put together a committee to look at correcting the mistakes allowed by the OFLC, the ABA and others. It is quite clear that the pornographic and violent material allowed to permeate the Australian broadcast medium can no longer be tolerated.

According to a front page article in the Brisbane City News, smut shop owners in Queensland are calling for the State govt to allow them to peddle hard-core pornography. 

The March issue of Hustler made a very special ¾ page mention of AFF, and included a postcard for their readers to cut out and send to Jack.  Guess how many he received!

The ALP govt of Wayne Goss in Queensland allowed the legal sale of so-called "soft porn" magazines like Playboy and Penthouse to children.

Clear thinking Victorians have been flooding Melbourne Parliament with so many letters against legal pot that (although Kennett asked for public input on this very topic) the Victorian Premier is now asking for letters to cease.  AFF members should all realise this means to step up the pressure!

After sending complimentary cases of drinks to Tasmanian homosexuals, Pepsi's Tasmanian manager said, "We do a lot of things with the gay and lesbian community."  Pepsi's PR Company, Holt Public Relations says, "Pepsi-Cola is a progressive company which is non-discriminatory."  Guess what we discovered!

A madman in Tasmania stalked and murdered innocent men, women and children.  Although the media wants to focus on the effect, they need to admit responsibility in contributing to what caused him to commit this atrocity. 

Aleksander Solzhenitsyn, in his June 1978 Harvard address warned Americans:  "The press has become the greatest power within the Western countries, more powerful than the legislature, the executive, and the judiciary.  One would then like to ask: by what law has it been elected and to whom is it responsible?"
