The LNP government of Campbell Newman in Queensland allows children of all ages to have unrestricted access to Penthouse magazine and other porn magazines in the family marketplace. This is bad. The only way to correct something bad is by doing something good (Gal 6:9).

Please ask Queensland MPs to recognise that children are damaged, some irreparably, by dangerous, premature exposure to extremely addictive, highly graphic, and grossly obscene pornographic imagery. Children are rightly protected from other addictions, why are they not protected from this addiction?
Sample letter:
“Dear Sir/Madam,
Why does your government continue to allow small children to be harmed by free access to the blatant display and legal sale of porn in the family marketplace? Will you please help correct this problem?
Please reply soon as all of my friends/church members/etc. are interested in your response.”
This is all you have to say but it is extremely important, will only take a few minutes and will help convince the Qld government to protect our children and grandchildren. We have to make this a political issue. The politicians do not care otherwise.
As well as the Queensland Premier, Attorney General and Minister for Child Safety, I have contacted all the ladies in the Qld state government, not one has responded favourably. Sadly the women seem to be mimicking the men who all tell me, “this is a federal problem”, “you are not in my electorate”, “Queenslanders don’t care about children accessing porn” and other such nonsense.
If you have ANY influence with other Christian activist organisations in Qld please encourage them to join with you in this simple letter writing campaign and PLEASE CONTACT MPs!!!!!!!!
For some reason other groups object to underwear ads on billboards and beer ads at bus stops but refuse to join our active and ongoing campaign to protect children from the well-known damage caused by unrestricted access to pornographic imagery. Perhaps you can sway others to join their voice in this specific battle in the “Winnable War”.
